The Riverton Braford herd consists of around 200 females of breeding age. There are currently 50 registered cows and 80 classified cows with around 10 ready for registration later in the year, and possibly another 20 for the Society Classifier to assess towards the end of the year.
The Stud currently uses four leading sires which have been purchased over recent years at the National Sale.
